Kurt F. Hausler
Kurt was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, and was raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1987. Kurt earned his law degree, cum laude, from Campbell University School of Law in 1995. While at Campbell, he served as Articles Editor of the Campbell Law Review, and authored a published Note (Campbell Law Review Vol. 16:1).
Kurt maintains a broad civil litigation practice, with an emphasis on commercial and business litigation, personal injury, products liability, professional malpractice and wrongful death. He has a wide range of experience and has handled cases in numerous jurisdictions, including South Carolina, New York, Illinois, Florida, Indiana and Tennessee. Kurt is licensed to practice before all North Carolina State Courts, the Federal District Courts for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Kurt is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest achievement rating. According to Martindale-Hubbell’s website, an AV Preeminent rating is a significant rating accomplishment and a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the Mecklenburg County Bar, and the North Carolina Bar Association.
Kurt is married with two children, is an avid swimmer and cyclist, and enjoys fly fishing whenever time permits.
